Book-ing & Movie-ing

Getting really bored this study week... Spending time watching MEANINGFUL movies are great! Meaningful equals to movies that really contented and convey certain messages in it. Two movies I watched that really gave an insider look and insight of the story.

"Up In The Air"
One which was "Up In The Air" tells the life of a man who possess a job hired by companies to fire people. Not a very fancy job but the job that fires people (to me) is the worst job ever to do... A man who travels around the world to fire people which then put under him a girl apprentice making his life upside down... Love this movie on every sayings and quotes... Nicely unfolding the ugly sides of living a happy world... Meaningful and very insightful~

"Wall Street 2 : Money Never Sleeps"
Another was "Wall Street 2 : Money Never Sleeps". This movie remind me so much of one of my friend's mom who have this particular job. This story talks about the life of a remisier or more common name as "broker" who act as an agent to buy and sell stocks trading... This is a hell of a job to earn easy money and burn lots of money... Very pressuring occupation but earns a lot... Have thought of putting myself in this field... But dunno why end up in another... (=-=) Anyhow, this movie also very nice! Don't really have this kind of movie much...

Til then nothing much but books~ Facing books are so sleepy and brain consuming... Facebook-ing are alternatives to my otherwise statement. (but time wasting) One paper down... 4 more to go which is like 4 more days to go... Hate these "gap" period... And good thing my first Advanced English paper topic was about "Procrastination"~ Hah! (put that to my face!) What a good topic! And a good reminder for my remaining papers too~

Quote Of The Day : "I Shall Stop Procrastinate Tomorrow! Let's Just Wait Then"

Smile :)

I am sitting on a comfortable couch grabbing a cup of Green Tea (ice blended plus with chocolate chips) in Starbucks while enjoying the relaxing music. Oh~ And for my purpose of coming is to study my English paper to be having the day after tomorrow... Just to think of it, this is so enjoyable! Only like this time I would have the mood to write my bloggy~

Oh ya~ Here's another lazy update. Have not been doing good lately... Have been in the world of thoughts these few days. Thinking about many many things... Or should I call it as reviewing my life? Lousy word. Should be like dreaming instead...To name a few, letting go of AIESEC. It's this issue again. Bugging me... And not happy. Yesterday was my last EB Team Day with my 20 EBs team (Executive Board) altogether... Just enjoying the happy moment yesterday~ A bliss~ Would never gonna have days like this anymore~ *sob sob* And so indeed that being in this family put a smile in my heart...
Leaving AIESEC is painful but sweet to think back the journey I went with it and with them...

Holla! I am changing college, and for heaven sake I regretted doing that now... But for a change I think it's worthwhile... I'm not that kinda person who would stuck with the same idea for life... I wanna change! 2 years staying in the same college is BORING~~ Yes. It does. For me. Would prefer my personal space and privacy sometimes which is why I chose to stay in single room... Let see what will happen to me next semester in new environment... It's challenging! :)

Am wondering why... But I am missing home... Never have this feeling before... But to think again, I don't really spend much time at home on my previous and this semester. But for now, exams! Even though this time I only have 5 subjects and feeling so free~ (yeah right, free~) I need to score to keep myself happy... I need to study lar! Stop blogging! Haha~ Til then... I will come back... Smile :)

Love this saying lately taken from the movie "Wall Street 2" : "Good Day, I'm Okay. Bad Day, I'm Okay. So What's The Difference?"

8 Days in Hong Kong (Part Two)

Disneyland!
It's my first time ever been to Disneyland. And how I wish I was a kid back then in this wonderland. I really do envy those kids there~ (doesn't mean that adults are not suppose to enjoy their childhood too) It's really fun walking in the Disney world to the castles. meeting with Mickey and Minnie, catching with superb performances while enjoying the flickering fireworks at night. That day really brings me back to my childhood time and gave me the feeling of living in the fantasy world. It is so perfect that everything comes with a happy ending. A Whole New World~

The Food!

Yummy! It's great to enjoy the very best food in Hong Kong! Especially "smelly taufu" (not my choice), then "Char Siew' rice then "Milk Dessert" then "留山“ then so many more! The "pau"s and "dim sum"~ Woots! I think the photo explains it better...

Ocean Park
Wuhoo! The place that you must go in Hong Kong! It's somehow like a theme park enough to play a whole day. Getting around, sightseeing, while seeing the very rare animals like panda! (Panda! I love panda! Finally i get to see a real and live one!) To those deadly exhilarating rides that mades you spin around in the air~ Somehow like Sentosa Island in Singapore... But nicer~

I just left one more day to explore the whole Hong Kong. Just the final place left which is "大雨伞" (Big Umbrella?) So basically you can finish all the landmark and attractions of HK in 9 days. There are more photos and places I go like The Peak, Snoopy World, Ladies Street, IFC, HK Poly Uni, HK Space And Science Musuem, Avenue of Stars, Madamme Tusauds, and so many more which I forgot the names already~ If you have the chance, go Hong Kong! It's worth a place to travel! ^^

8 Days In Hong Kong

I'm alive! The 8 days in Hong Kong are of superb experience. Would regard it as of a more having-fun-travelling thing than career trip although two days are spent for visiting the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Royal International Chartered Surveyor (RICS) and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).

I have so many things to write! And I won't put it all here though~ (not gonna write an essay)

First, Hong Kong is expensive! Never thought the standard of living here are so high that it provides a large significance difference with Shen Zhen (although both are just a bridge away) 80% of cars on road are super branded including dream cars of mine like Porche, Ferrari and BMW. 90% of people in Hong Kong uses iPhone 4. A meal averagely would cost $20 equivalent to RM9, a pao would then cost around $6 like RM2.50 each. Ouch~

Second, you get what you pay in Hong Kong. Hong Kong is the famous international place to shop by given all sort of branded items at a cheaper price (thanks for tax-free~) Shopping paradise for shoppers to sneak around those luxurious items and famous brands with all sorts of fashion and design. And what I buy truly equals to the quality of that price. That includes the food as well. I have paid $35 for a meal and I get exactly $35 amount and satisfaction.

Hong Kong although is a part of China (recently) but both this country share very different system altogether. Hong Kong is so internationally recognized and a developed urban country. It would be perhaps the final destination to go in Asia besides Japan and Korea. Thus the standard of living are unexpectedly higher than other Asian countries. Surrounded by all the skycrapers and tall buildings, it was a magnificent view from the peak.

All in all... This travelling experience were so different from the one I gained in Guangzhou. Yet... I have fun! Wanna know more? Do leave comments! ^^
